Sowing and germination

Grevia seeds are small, hard, and are found in the seeds of the fruit. The pulp is completely removed, the seeds are washed and soaked for 24-48 hours in warm water or in a solution of a growth stimulator: balanced plant vitamin supplement, natural plant growth stimulant, amino-acid plant fertilizer, anti-stress adaptogen solution or root development stimulant. Stratification is desirable: 3-4 weeks at 3-5°C in wet sand noticeably level out the seedlings. Sowing is carried out in a sterile loose substrate of peat and sand to a depth of about 1 cm. The sowing is moistened with a spray bottle, covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse and germinated at a temperature of 25-30°C. Shoots appear after 2-6 weeks, unevenly. The crops are ventilated daily and condensation is removed. Seedlings grow quickly; planting into separate pots is carried out after the second pair of true leaves have unfurled.
