Sowing and germination
The seeds are very small, almost dusty, light brown. Because of their size, they are not washed, soaked or pickled: when the water is drained, they go with it, and hot water damages them. All preparation comes down to careful sowing and spraying the finished sowing. The seeds are immediately sown in the substrate in which they will germinate: 2 parts of ready-made substrate for cacti, 1 part of sand about 1 mm and 1 part of perlite. When sowing superficially, without embedding, it is convenient to mix the seeds with a pinch of dry sand and scatter them along with it, then they will lie evenly. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with water with the addition of a growth stimulator: balanced plant vitamin supplement, natural plant growth stimulant, amino-acid plant fertilizer, anti-stress adaptogen solution or root development stimulant.
