Sowing and germination

Seeds are pre-soaked for 12-24 hours in warm water with the addition of stimulants (SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon). Then 2-3 pieces are sown in separate cups with a well-drained sand mixture to a depth of 1 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 20-21 ° C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds germinate in 2 to 4 weeks. If seedlings do not appear within the specified period, cold stratification should be carried out; the container with seeds is placed in a refrigerator at a temperature of 3-4°C for 2-4 weeks, after which it is returned to heat. 2 weeks after germination, the plants are transplanted into separate liter pots with sandy substrate. The sprouts are very tender and easily injured, so picking is carried out together with a lump of earth.
