Sowing and germination
The palm tree is propagated by seeds or by dividing the bush. The seed propagation method is quite long and requires patience. Before planting, the seeds are soaked for 48 hours in warm water (or in a thermos). Then they are lowered into a mixture of peat and sand with the addition of turf soil. The seeding depth is 1-1.5 times the diameter of the seed. Moisten with a spray bottle, cover with film and water regularly. Germinate in bright light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 28-30°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Planted seeds “sit” in the soil for a long time. All this time they are kept under film. The first shoots appear only six months after planting.
