Sowing and germination

Iochroma can be propagated by seeds, but this is a very lengthy process. The seed material is quite small. The seeds must be placed on the ground without going deep into the soil. Peat soil with added sand is preferable. For germination, use a mini-greenhouse with sufficient lighting. Temperatures should be +20-25 degrees. Seeds need high humidity, the room is periodically ventilated. Iochroma is planted every year in a new place with an updated soil mixture. The plant is difficult to root; harvested shoots are first soaked in a growth stimulator overnight.
