Sowing and germination
Before planting, the seeds are soaked in a growth stimulator for 2-3 hours and planted in the ground. The container for planting must have a depth of at least 7 cm and drainage holes at the bottom. The seeds are laid out on pre-moistened soil and sprinkled with a thin – no more than 5 mm – layer of soil. The pot is covered with cellophane. An important condition is good lighting and temperature from 20°C to 25°C.. The time for emergence of seedlings is about 7 days, in some cases up to 3 weeks. All this time the soil is kept moist. As soon as the seedlings hatch, it is necessary to take the pot to a well-lit place. Transplantation into new pots occurs when 3-4 true leaves appear.
