Sowing and germination

Seeds are first carefully scarified (the surface of the seeds is slightly undermined with sandpaper) and soaked in warm water for 24 hours, then sown superficially in a well-drained substrate of equal parts of peat moss and perlite, distributed over the surface and slightly covered with a thin layer of peat moss, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated on light, but not in the sun at a temperature of 20-25°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. It is necessary to remove the sprouts from the soil so that the roots are not damaged, and transplant each sprout into a separate pot with the same soil as for germination. This will help them develop a stronger root system and prepare for more vigorous growth.
