Sowing and germination

The seeds are first scarified (without disturbing the top layer, germination will be minimal); for this, the outer shell is carefully sawed or scratched with a hard instrument so as not to damage the seed. Then the seed material is soaked for 3-5 days in warm water with the addition of stimulants (SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminosol, Epin or Zircon). Seeds are sown to a depth of 2-4 cm in a mixture of light nutritious soil in pots up to 15 cm high, in order to prevent the roots from growing in length. Drainage is placed at the bottom of the pot, for example, from brick chips or a mixture of river sand and expanded clay. The crops are moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 20-25°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops.
