Sowing and germination
The seeds are first scarified (without disturbing the top layer, germination will be minimal); for this, the outer shell is carefully sawed or scratched with a hard instrument so as not to damage the seed. Then the seed material is soaked for 12 hours in warm water with the addition of stimulants (SUPERthrive, HB-101, Aminozol, Epin or Zircon). Prepared seeds are sown in a moist substrate to a depth of about 0.5 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, placed in a greenhouse or covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 20-25°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds germinate within 2-4 weeks. After the first shoots appear, the seedlings can be picked, transferred to separate pots for further growth and development.
