Sowing and germination

Before sowing, seeds are soaked for 8–10 hours in warm water. A mineral substrate with sand and perlite is used, surface sowing with a light sprinkling. The container is covered with a transparent lid or film, and regular ventilation is carried out. The temperature is maintained in the range of 22–26°C. Shoots appear in 15–30 days, the maximum possible germination period can be more than 50 days. Picking is carried out when the seedlings reach a diameter of about 1–1.5 cm, after which they are kept in bright but diffused light.
