Sowing and germination

propagated by seeds and rhizome suckers. With winter sowing, seedlings appear at the end of June. Before sowing, seeds are soaked in growth stimulants. To speed up germination during seedling propagation, planting containers with seeds are kept warm for 2 months at a temperature of 4-18 - +20 °C, and then placed in a cold place with a temperature of +3 - +5 °C and kept until germination. It is possible to sow directly into the ground before winter, into frozen ridges under snow from November to March. Soils are desirable fertile, drained, deeply cultivated.
