Sowing and germination
The seeds are pre-soaked in warm water for 24 hours until they swell; unswollen seeds can be pricked a little with a needle or rubbed with sandpaper and soaked again. Then the swollen seeds are sown in a mixture of peat and sand to a depth of 0.5-1 cm, moistened with a spray bottle, covered with film and germinated in the light, but not in the sun, at a temperature of 22-27°C. The seedlings need ventilation. It is necessary to avoid waterlogging and drying out of crops. Seeds germinate in 10-15 days. The seedlings are transplanted a couple of times into larger pots while preserving the root ball of soil. It is recommended to install a support for each sprout so that the plant curls and does not intertwine with neighboring specimens.
