Sowing and germination

Before sowing, they are soaked for 6-12 hours in a weak solution of potassium permanganate or in a solution of a seed-safe growth stimulant according to its label directions, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant, seed-safe growth stimulant or seed-safe growth stimulant. Scarification and stratification are not required. Sowing is carried out in soil heated to 15°C, when the threat of return frosts has passed, to a depth of 3-4 cm, with a distance of 10-15 cm between plants and 40-50 cm between rows. In cool climates, the seedling method is practiced: sowing in separate pots 3-4 weeks before planting, since the root system does not tolerate transplantation well. Shoots at a temperature of 20-25°C appear in 7-10 days. Before emergence, the substrate is kept evenly moist, but not wet. The seedlings are planted in the ground with a full ball of earth, without deepening the root collar.
