Graptopetalum BELLUM

SKU 586-5

Sowing and germination

The seeds of the beautiful graptopetalum are very small, dusty or almost dusty, brownish, easily lost with careless handling. Sowing is carried out in the spring or in the presence of stable lighting all year round. A sterile fine-grained substrate is used based on sifted soil for succulents, fine washed sand, perlite and mineral chips. The seeds are distributed over the surface, not buried or sprinkled, but only lightly pressed against the moist substrate. The crops are moistened from a spray bottle with a weak solution of potassium permanganate or biofungicide with the addition of a growth stimulator. The container is covered with a transparent lid or placed in a greenhouse. Sprouting is carried out under bright ambient light and a temperature of about 20-25° C, without direct sun and overheating. The surface is maintained slightly wet, but not wet, moistening is performed only by fine spraying or very careful bottom watering.
