Sowing and germination

Propagated by seeds and division of rhizomes. Before sowing, the seeds are soaked in warm water for 12–24 hours. They are sown in a loose substrate (a mixture of peat, sand and garden soil), sprinkled with a thin layer and moistened with a spray bottle. The container is covered with film and placed in a warm, bright place at a temperature of +22–26°C. Ventilation is carried out daily. The maximum germination period can be more than 40 days. After the emergence of seedlings, the shelter is gradually removed. The division of rhizomes is carried out in the spring, the divisions are planted in separate pots and shaded until rooting.
